Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Friday said the blocking of YouTube accounts in his country is a reaction to the registration of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine candidate called Soberana 01.

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel confirmed on Friday his confidence in the triumph of the people over difficulties in the international socioeconomic crisis, based on the application of the government strategy to overcome the negative economic effects in post Covid-19 time.

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel has called the United States government immoral, arrogant and perverse for its escalation of hostility against the people of the Caribbean nation.

«The imperial government is applying new sanctions that affect the Cuban people, while the American people are being harshly hit by the pandemic and racist repression,» the Cuban leader remarked on his personal Twitter account.  With the tag #NoMoreBlocking and a photo with the phrase «Sanctions are a crime,» the president said that in Cuba, no one surrenders.

Action by Cuban doctors, a monument to Fidel Castro, says Díaz-Canel.

 

 

 

 

 

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Saturday said that each action by our doctors and scientists of the country to fight Covid-19 is a monument to the historic leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro.

Diaz-Canel recalled on his Twitter account what happened on Friday, at a meeting with top provincial authorities and from Isla de la Juventud special municipality, where they analyzed the actions taken against the pandemic.

Foreign Relations had significant results in Cuba in 2019.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel participated on Thursday in the annual review of the foreign policy work during 2019 and the priorities for the island’s Foreign Ministry for 2020.

Prime Minister Manuel Marrero,  Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas were also on hand at the event.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez recalled that last year was complex, challenging, and with significant results for Cuba and its people.
