While the United States tries to discredit Cuba’s international medical cooperation, the number of brigades sent to different countries around the world to fight Covid-19 continues to increase.

Doctors and other health professionals that make up the brigades are part of the Henry Reeve Contingent, created by Fidel Castro in 2005 to face situations of serious epidemics and natural disasters.

Cuba reports substantial drop in Covid-19 cases

Cuba registered a substantial drop of Covi-19 new cases on Sunday to 11, for a total of 4.309 in six and half months of pandemic.

Chief Epidemiologist Dr. Francisco Duran reported in his daily morning press briefing that there 616 active patients, of whom 600 are doing well, as the number of critical and seriously ill at ICUs fell to 16.
