WHO confirms three COVID-19 vaccines under clinical testing.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced that there are three vaccines in the process of being clinically tested to see if they are effective in neutralizing COVID-19.

«Another 70 vaccines are in development,» WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said at a press conference in Geneva.  Although three vaccines are being tested and dozens are in production, it will not be until the spring of 2021 that an effective drug will be available.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez called attention on Monday to the importance of international cooperation in knowledge and good practices in the fight against the new coronavirus SARS Cov-2.

On his account on the social network Twitter, the head of Cuba’s diplomacy said that in the fight against COVID-19, «it is imperative to exchange experiences and share information, scientific research and resources; and concert efforts.»
